SPICE Girl Geri Halliwell is planning to launch a version of the popular girl group as a musical in London's West End, reported entertainment media on Friday.
According to celebrity website Bang Showbiz, the singer has also said that she wants to bring The Spice Girls' rags-to-riches story to life on stage in a two hour 'pop extravaganza.' She also plans to use five unknown actresses in the lead roles.
A source told the Daily Mirror: 'The project is Geri's baby really but all the girls are backing it. The idea is for five relatively unknown actresses to take the parts and hopefully the girls will each have a say in who is cast.' The information follows another Spice Girl, Mel B, confirming that the group 'are definitely going to be doing something together again soon.'
