The Festival program included two daily shows lasting an hour each, held on the 2nd and 3rd of April 2009. To offer the visitors a wholesome entertainment experience, the City Centre also invited a renowned act of Russian stilt walkers to inaugurate the proceedings. They strutted alongside models wearing attractive silver ensembles to kick off the show. The fashion show featured international models adorning the Spring/Summer collections of 32 fashion labels at the City Center.

The show catered to people of all ages and stylistic sensibilities. The models sashayed along the runway in chic to casual outfits featuring everything from male and female adult and children's wear to the hottest trends in traditional Arabic apparel such as the Abaya.

The show this year was a reverie of retro pop culture styling and followed a 'Techno Romantic' theme, with the hairstyling being described by the organizers as 'Infinity Fashion', and the make-up themed 'Moon Fashion'. The annual Fashion Festival is one of the primary attractions at the City Center, which houses a broad range of trendy retail brands including Vera Moda, Debenhams, Mango, NEXT, Promod and many others.
