It was a weekend of horror in the Hollywood Hills as the stars dressed in the scariest Halloween outfits they could think of which for the Hilton sisters meant work uniforms.Having a proper job must be such a terrifying prospect that Paris, complete with freaky blue eyes, arrived at the Playboy Mansion as a "scary" maid, while little sis Nicky was a "frightening" air stewardess.Equally un-scary was Kate Hudson, whose kinky sailor outfit looked more at home in a strip club than a ghost ship - but lover Dax Shepard wasn't complaining.Kiefer Sutherland was a bottle of whisky, while singer Avril Lavigne got the Formula wrong and wore a bizarre racing-flag dress.And prize for most rubbish outfits goes to Reese Witherspoon and new man Jake Gyllenhaal who gatecrashed in just masks.Thankfully the spirit of Halloween wasn't totally lost - Marilyn Manson and lover Evan Rachel Wood came as themselves. Scary.
