Singer Rihanna is set to make her big screen debut later this month in the Peter Berg directed movie Battleship. Rihanna has admitted that she will be bringing her bad ass-ness and he buns to the movie and only really agreed to do it because she got to shoot guns.
Rihanna explained to Radio Times, “I really didn’t know what [the film] was, but the minute they said we got to shoot, I said, ‘Yeah, I’m in!’ I was in the cadets when I was about 11.” She also admitted that she would be bringing “My bad ass-ness and my buns,” to the Battleship movie.
Rihanna also admitted that she was completely unaware of who director Peter Berg was and actually sat through a whole meeting with him, regarding the Battleship movie, and did not realise he was the director until right at the very end.
She added, “I didn’t know what film it was. I just knew that I had a meeting, and this guy just started talking and showing me lots of pictures of aliens. It was not until the end that I realised he was the actual director of the film!”Battleship is set to be released in the UK on April 11 before being released in the US on May 18.
