Forget the Super Bowl, we're all about the return of The Voice! The second season premiere of the reality singing competition brought in a stunning 37.6 million viewers, the highest ratings for a non-sports TV telecast on any network in six years.
So we know that The Voice scored in the ratings, but how did the show's contestants fare? Pretty darn well. Unlike American Idol and X Factor, The Voice doesn't waste any time on terrible singers in ridiculous costumes. Every contestant that makes it in front of the judges is a decent singer even if they fail to get Adam Levine, Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green, and Blake Shelton to swivel their giant red chairs around.
