While Kim Kardashian has had her share of magazine covers and Snooki herself appeared on the cover of Rolling Stone, it has been confirmed neither of the reality stars will be gracing Elle's cover anytime soon.
The fashion mag's creative director Joe Zee clarified his views on the issue: Listen, Kim is a big cover star out there and if Kim had something going on in her life right now...I just wish that she would do something, but she's not doing anything. If she actually did something, we would actually think about Kim for the cover. It's about new. It's not about, so much, a reality star. The idea is, are they newsworthy? Is it someone our readers want to read about?
As for Snooki, Zee simply said, "I'm going to have to pass on that one." The creative director went on to site their November cover girl, Jennifer Aniston, as a "ravishing" celeb with "incredible style." We couldn't agree more.
