Bipasha Basu's mother seems to be taking after her daughter as far modelling is concerned! The actress' beautiful mother made her ramp debut alongside her darling daughter for a jewellery brand which Bipasha endorses at a jewellery show.
Its for the first time that Bipasha's mom was seen doing the catwalk and it was all for a noble cause. An overjoyed Bipasha revealed, "I walked the ramp with my mother for the very first time for Gitanjali in association with Beti, against female foeticide."
Backing her initiative to bring in awareness about the cause, Bipasha added, "In our country the strength of a daughter is underestimated. I come from a family of three sisters where all three of us were given every kind of opportunity and encouragement by our parents!"
So how would the supermodel turned actor rate her mother's ramp walk, we wonder. "She for a first timer was so confident! I was very nervous though" concluded Bipasha.
