The father of the American actress and singer-songwriter Demi Lovato partly blames Hollywood for the current physical and emotional issues of her daughter. Patrick Lovato said that the Hollywood‘s stresses are to be blamed partially for Demi’s issues such as eating disorder, struggling with body image and even cutting.

Demi’s dad said that since there are many pressures, it’s one of the stuff he worried about her daughter signing up with Disney. Reportedly separated with Demi’s mother in 1994, Patrick stated he didn’t have any idea when Demi decided on attending a treatment center after the rumors. However, Patrick clarified that the place Demi went to wasn’t a drug addiction center.

Patrick also revealed that he was not aware that Demi was being bullied but he’s expecting the starlet to go through this tough time of hers. The father said that she will be fine and she’s strong.
